BarCamp Omaha 2026 tickets on sale now!

The day has arrived! We have many, many updates to share, and I’ll roll them out slowly over the next couple weeks! 

BarCamp Omaha 2026 will be held on November 14th, 2026 at the Kaneko in downtown Omaha. 

I'm excited to share the design team for 2026: Anthony Banks, Bryan Findell, and Dillon Wheelock. I have been tryyyyying to work with Anthony for years - since 2019, in fact, where a BarCamp Lincoln 2020 planned for March was cancelled... for... some reason... :) Bryan Findell has been a close collaborator with me on and off for years, so I'm grateful for his time designing this event, and Dillon I've admired his work from afar, he's also a stellar Illustrator and motion designer. I am SO excited to see what this righteous team of multidisciplinary folks do!

Another second announcement is this app here - Tidy Events! This platform is designed for attendees, speakers, organizers, sponsors, vendors, and venues. I've been iterating on this app since 2019. I'll give a talk about Tidy Events in the Entrepreneurs track this year, and feel free to ask questions and give feedback! I hope that this platform - when fully up and running - will help folks create great events and participate deeply in the many different Omaha communities we have (and hey, maybe it can keep growing to other cities?!?! Fingers crossed!)
